Set up your Heartbeat Monitoring
Heartbeat monitoring is a time-tested method of tracking the health of a device or software system by sending regular heartbeat events to a remote monitoring service. Alerts are triggered when:
✓ The heartbeats stop being sent.
✓ The rhythm (schedule) of the heartbeats changes.
✓ Data included with the heartbeat event fails user defined grace period.
Step 1: Head to "Heartbeats" from the left menu
Step 2: Click on "+Create heartbeat" in the top right corner
Step 3: Setup your Heartbeat
You can set up:
- How often CheqUptime should expect a heartbeat
- Grace period – The time that your cronjob takes to execute, approximately.
Step 4 : Advanced Settings

- Notifications - where you want to be notified when your monitor goes down or back up
